TRIP TO MYANMAR BORDER

On the way to Myanmar border, we catch the STILWELL road from ledo, the road runs through three countries.. Myanmar, India and China. This road was constructed by Gen. Gorge.W.Stilwell, during the World War II , with a record of 52 miles in 30 days. The army had only beer and cigarettes for their off time. SALUTE, to those great souls, who made this great route through which i travel today.

This is the LEDO famous for its coal and we are mining like anything. Soon we will have no coal left for the generation to come.

the silky smooth road of JAGUN, amazed to have such roads in that kind of remote area. Enjoyed the sneaking sound of wheels, taking the sharpe turns.

This place is called LEKHAPANI the last destination of locomotive in the north-eastern province.

After JAGUN, we entered JAIRAMPUR in Arunachal Pradesh. Here we took our permit to Myanmar from A.D.C. office, Jairampur.

After getting the permit, we went to WORLD WAR II  cemetery at JAIRAMPUR. But it has been very pooly maintained.A place must visit. A very few people visit this place, a very secluded one.

After crossing the ASSAM RIFLES CAMP at JAIRAMPUR, we Drove to NAMLONG the last town/ village to Myanmar.
Arriving Pangso Pass Myanmar.
